Sharjah Shopping Mall: OpenAire created a unique oval skylight for the centrepiece of the amazing 280,000 square-foot (26,012.85 square meter) Sharjah Shopping Mall in the United Arab Emirates. Built with a durable aluminum frame and glazed with insulating glass, this skylight will be the largest aluminum dome in the Middle East. Measuring 242’-9” (74m) long by 154’-2” (47m) wide and standing 68’-10” (21m) high, this skylight will cast the main retail areas in vibrant, inviting natural light. OpenAire is excited to be a part of this monumental project and looks forward to Sharjah Mall’s completion at the end of 2018.

The staff from Baymont Inn & Suites in Sullivan, MO would like to express how much we enjoyed our experience working with OpenAire and their installers. Not only did we get an amazing new roof for our pool area, but the installers made the experience painless. The team was friendly and professional; they kept a clean working area, a steady work schedule, and good attitude with everyone, guest and staff included. While staying as guests at our hotel, they carried their professionalism with them, always keeping their rooms spotless. In addition to all of this, they even completed the job early, which allowed us to paint the pool area before we reopened it to our guests – something we hadn’t planned on being able to do. Again we would like to thank OpenAire for a job well done all the way around.

We opened the Hockessin Athletic Club on June 10th, 2007. Our members and especially their children rave about the outstanding environment that has been created. I also like the fact that I don’t need lights during the day, and I won’t have to condition the OpenAire space until October or November which is a huge savings over a traditional indoor pool facility. We love our OpenAire!

Prior to covering the pool, we had very little winter usage, and only limited evening usage. We now have a full pool…our aquatic income has increased over 40% since adding the cover…OpenAire has made a big difference to our YMCA and to the people in our community.

With the OpenAire building we get to use our park year-round. With the glass enclosure you get to enjoy the view outside without the chilly temperatures of fall and winter. And on those sunny days we can open the roof for the ultimate experience of the great outdoors while still indoors. It also saves with our HVAC system, we can shut it down with the roof open, saving money. And during the day, no lights required!
