OpenAire Advances Enclosure for Kalahari Resorts’ New Indoor Waterpark in Wisconsin Dells

Wisconsin Dells, WI — Construction is entering its final phase on the newest indoor waterpark addition at Kalahari Resorts in Wisconsin Dells, with OpenAire proud to be delivering the 100% aluminum retractable roof enclosure system that will make year-round waterpark fun possible.
The building envelope is now fully enclosed, giving crews a weather-tight environment to complete interior finishing, waterpark features, and mechanical systems ahead of the resort’s fall opening. With the structure now closed in, the project has moved into the home stretch, and the OpenAire team is working alongside Kalahari’s construction partners to keep the project on track for its target completion date.
“Getting the building enclosed is a major milestone — it’s the point where a construction site starts to feel like the finished attraction guests will experience,” said an OpenAire project representative. “We’re excited to see this space come together.”
Once complete, the new waterpark will add to Kalahari’s reputation as one of the largest indoor waterpark resorts in the country, giving families another reason to visit Wisconsin Dells no matter the season. We are a proud partner to Kalahari now having worked on two separate locations. This project stands out at the first full enclosure by OpenAire for Kalahari
