The Challenge
When one of America’s premier entertainment venues needed an attractive, unique architectural solution for one of its restaurants and bars, it knew to choose OpenAire. Fourth Street LIVE! in Louisville, Kentucky had the plan to build a bridge-themed restaurant and bar enclosure with Goose Island Brewery at its famous downtown location.
The Solution
The OpenAire team worked with renowned development firm The Cordish Companies to complete a 48-foot bridge with a lightweight, aluminum-framed glass enclosure for the venue over Louisville’s busy Fourth Street. This unmistakable bridge is home to the new Goose Island’s Beer Bridge, serving top-notch food and drink to guests while offering possibly the best view of Fourth Street LIVE’s many live events and attractions. This one-of-a-kind architectural solution has become a great success for Fourth Street LIVE! and Goose Island’s Beer Bridge, making it “the premier meeting place for downtown Louisville,” according to Fourth Street LIVE’s official website.
