Once again, OpenAire has been able to collaborate with the YMCA for the development of another community YMCA.

From the YMCA: “The YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South and Methodist South Hospital have partnered to replace the Davis YMCA in Whitehaven with a state-of-the-art community resource center to serve as an epicenter of healing and community wellness, with a focus on early childhood development, water safety, mental and physical health, and social service programming. The new facility in Whitehaven will serve as a hub for services and resources within and beyond this community and will extend resources into the surrounding neighborhoods.”

OpenAire has provided a lean to enclosure that has a footprint of 58ft x 95ft and opens to the surrounding outdoor green space. The Aquatic Center has been named the Jackie & Patrice Robinson Indoor Pool and will serve the community with year round programming.

The YMCA opened in March 2023.
