The Lincoln Park Zoo is engaged in an ongoing construction project to improve and update various exhibits. OpenAire was chosen to provide five skylights of various descriptions to help create the most natural settings possible for the zoo animals in those exhibits.

The new operable OpenAire skylights (some opening from the bottom up, some from the top down) are glazed with 1″ (25mm) clear polycarbonate, and were designed to maximize natural light and fresh air for the animals below. The natural light and open spaces are a winning solution for the zoo’s animal residents and human visitors alike.
