Lincoln Social Rooftop

Nine stories above the Short North, atop the Lincoln building, Lincoln Social Rooftop gives Columbus one of its most talked-about skyline views — and an OpenAire retractable roof is what makes it work in any season.

The enclosure features a single-slope, all-glass retractable roof that slides sideways on tracks to open completely over the bar, flooding the lounge with open sky and letting the space breathe on warm Columbus nights. The surrounding walls are fitted with bi-folding doors that fold completely open, dissolving the boundary between the lounge and the city skyline beyond. Together, the roof and walls let guests move seamlessly between a sheltered indoor lounge and a true open-air rooftop experience, all with the push of a button.

Built with OpenAire’s signature lightweight, corrosion-resistant aluminum frame and glass paneling, the structure is engineered to handle nine stories of wind exposure and Ohio’s shifting seasons without sacrificing the light, open feel that defines the space. Around a fire pit and an ivy-wall backdrop, guests sip cocktails crafted by Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ expert mixologists under open sky in summer, then watch the roof and doors close in seconds when the weather turns — keeping the party going, rain or shine, all year long.

It’s this kind of flexibility that’s helped turn Lincoln Social from a seasonal rooftop bar into one of Columbus’s premier four-seasons nightlife destinations.
