OWA which means Big Water is an entertainment destination, 7 miles from the Gulf of Mexico in Foley, Alabama. Unveiled in 2016 by the Tribal Chair and CEO of The Poarch Band of Creek Indians, Tropic Falls Waterpark at OWA is now a Gulf Coast destination not to be missed. Opened in 2017, OWA consists of a Sports Tourism Complex, a Theme Park and Downtown OWA; a retail and restaurant district connecting all of the amenities.

Opened during the summer of 2022, the newest part of OWA is Tropic Falls, the 65,000sf indoor outdoor waterpark.

The brand new indoor retractable roof waterpark is the largest of its kind on the Gulf Coast, and includes an incredible feature, a Retractable Wall that is 26 ft tall and 128 ft wide and opens from the indoor waterpark to the adjacent outdoor wave pool. The 3,400 sf opening will be the largest sliding door in the southern US and truly ensure this is a year round indoor outdoor destination not to be missed.

Tropic Falls is engineered to withstand the hurricane force winds common to the gulf and has already been through a couple of these natural events with no damage.
