Reata Glen & The Glen at Scripps Ranch Retirement Communities

Finished in 2019, OpenAire added a double slope retractable skylight to the Reata Glen retirement community in Mission Viejo, California as well as an almost identical skylight at The Glen at Scripps Ranch near San Diego.

These two skylights sit on a glulam (wood) sub structure, creating a warm ambience inline with the architects intent for the fitness centres of these lovely new communities.

The retractable roof skylight is divided into three bays that open to allow the sunshine to beam into the pool area.
