Tropic Falls Waterpark at OWA

OWA which means Big Water is an entertainment destination, 7 miles from the Gulf of Mexico in Foley, Alabama. Unveiled in 2016 by the Tribal Chair and CEO of The Poarch Band of Creek Indians, Tropic Falls Waterpark at OWA is now a Gulf Coast destination not to be missed. Opened in 2017, the project consists of a Sports Tourism Complex, a Theme Park and Downtown OWA; a retail and restaurant district connecting all of the amenities.

With a soft opening during the summer of 2022, the newest part of the site is Tropic Falls, the 65,000sf indoor outdoor waterpark.

The brand new indoor retractable roof waterpark will not only be the largest of its kind on the Gulf Coast, but will include an incredible feature, a retractable wall that opens from the indoor waterpark to the adjacent outdoor wave pool which will open in Fall of 2022.

The Retractable Wall is 128ft wide and 26 ft tall and slides open to fully allow guests to flow from indoors to out in a seamless experience. The 3,400 sf opening will be the largest sliding door in the southern US and truly ensure this is a year round indoor outdoor destination not to be missed.
