Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod officially opened its doors in November 2024, marking an exciting new chapter for the Margaritaville brand as its first branded hotel in New England.

This hotel was previously named, the Cape Codder Resort & Spa. The family-owned seaside resort was renovated by the team at OpenAire with partners Rescom Architectural Inc., East Coast Commercial, and Dodd & Associates Engineering Company in 2014. The 12,240 square-foot, retractable-roofed Cape Codder Waterpark features two body slides, a 300-foot lazy river with waterfalls and rapids, a spray deck for children, and a water-play area for toddlers, all available year-round thanks to an elegant double-sloped retractable skylight designed and installed by OpenAire.

Measuring 85 feet by 144 feet, this skylight features ten bays, eight of which include a retractable panel on each slope, plus rafter extensions that offer an extra 5 feet of opening space per bay.
