Second Rodeo Brewing
Fort Worth, Texas
OpenAire was commissioned to design a retractable roof over a new brewing patio within the Fort Worth Stockyards project as part of the Mule Alley restoration by architecture firm Bennett Partners.
The $1b ongoing renovation and revitalization of the historic Fort Worth Stockyards venue will significantly increase the size and scope of the historic district, adding commercial space, residential units, hotels, and extensive parking
Second Rodeo Brewing is “a backyard bar with chef-driven grub, live music and outdoor games for the whole family.” The 60ft x 90 ft retractable roof skylight opens from the top down and sits on top of the existing steel and stone buildings. The venue features sunshine, fresh air, games, music casual vibes and is a fabulous rentable event venue.
Second Rodeo Brewing is run by Brain Storm Shelter, the same group behind the Truck Yard beer garden and Twisted Root Burger Co.
